ITM Power has appointed Amy Grey as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
She is expected to join the firm’s board no later than early March 2025.
Grey joins the designer and manufacturer of electrolysers from Sheffield Forgemasters, where she has been serving as CFO and previously finance director.
She has also held a number of senior management roles at other firms, including vice president of finance at Greenlane Renewables, UK finance director at Heras Perimeter Protection and finance and commercial director at Kelda Group.
Grey will take over the role from Andy Allen, who is set to step down from the board.
As part of the transition, he will support Grey in taking on the role, with Allen assuming a different position in the company.
Chief executive officer at ITM Power, Dennis Schulz, said: "I am delighted to welcome Grey to ITM as our CFO, following an extensive search to secure such a high-calibre appointee. She will be an excellent addition to the leadership team, and we look forward to working with Grey on the exciting growth ahead of us.
"Today, ITM is more capable than the Company has ever been. I want to thank Allen for his significant contributions to getting ITM to this point and for supporting me closely in the transformation of the business during our recent 12-month plan. I am pleased that we can retain Allen in the business."
