Halma has announced that it has acquired the specialist provider of water quality monitoring and analysis technology, Pyxis, for approximately £126m.

The initial cash consideration for the three Pyxis companies is being delivered on a cash and debt-free basis, funded from Halma’s existing facilities.

The Houston, Texas-based firm designs and manufactures sensors and systems that enable customers to measure and control critical water parameters in real time across industrial, municipal and environmental applications. Its technology helps improve process efficiency, reduce waste and support compliance with increasingly stringent environmental standards.

In the 12 months to 31 March 2027, Pyxis’ unaudited revenue is set to be approximately £29m.
