SkinBioTherapeutics has appointed Anita Slater as interim CFO on an initial six-month term.
She joins the life science business, which focuses on skin health, with 30 years’ experience in commercial and financial senior leadership roles, including board positions, and has worked across start-ups, AIM-listed firms and FTSE top 10 companies in energy, infrastructure and manufacturing.
Slater began her career at BG Group (now Shell), where she worked for 19 years and rose to be portfolio and planning manager for the global business development team, finishing her term as Shell-BG merger exploration transition team manager, following Shell’s acquisition.
Following her time in the oil and gas sector, Slater worked in the renewable energy and technology sectors from 2016, including executive roles at companies including Tokamak Energy, AMTE Power, Blue International Group and Joule Africa.
