Caffyns has appointed Joelle Timperley as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

She will replace Michael Warren, who is stepping down from the role of finance director after 10 years in the role.

Timperley is a chartered accountant and CIMA fellow, who is joining the motor retailer from the subsidiary of EDF Group, Hynamics UK, where she served as CFO.

She will join Caffyns from 5 January, when Warren will step down from the role. He will continue to work with Timperley to ensure a smooth transition.

Chief executive at Caffyns, Simon Caffyn, said: "We are delighted to welcome Joelle to the company, she will be a strong addition to our leadership team. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Michael for his outstanding work over the last 10 years and to wish him well in his retirement."
