Empresaria Group has appointed Spencer Wreford as its new chief financial officer (CFO), with his start date yet to be determined.

He has rejoined the specialist staffing group with extensive senior financial and operational leadership across a range of sectors and organisations.

Wreford previously served as Empresaria’s finance director between 2010 and 2018 and as chief executive officer from 2018 to 2019.

He has also worked as CFO at B2B IT solutions provider, Dataquest Group, and at energy infrastructure designer, Penspen Group.

Wreford has followed Nigel Marsh who has been appointed as CEO, effective from 30 March.

Marsh has over 30 years of experience in global recruitment operations, having previously served as CEO at Medacs Healthcare from 2003 to 2021 and strategic head of nGAGE Healthcare from 2021 to 2023. His previous positions include strategy and corporate development director at AXA Health.
