Severfield appoints new permanent CFO

Severfield has announced the appointment of Andrew Page as the construction company’s new chief financial officer (CFO).

He will succeed Jan Bramall who has served as CFO on an interim basis since November.

Severfield, a specialist structural steelwork group, confirmed the appointment follows a comprehensive search process led by the board, with the support of external advisers.

Page has also been appointed an executive director, with the move effective from 16 February. Most recently, he served as interim CFO at privately-owned construction and engineering group, ISG, and he has previously held senior finance positions at British Energy Group, Centrica, FirstGroup and Ocado.

Severfield’s CEO, Paul McNerney, said: “I am delighted to welcome Andrew to the Severfield team as CFO at such a pivotal time for the group. He brings extensive experience from within the construction sector, alongside a strong track record of financial leadership in UK-listed companies. As we continue our transformation and redefine our wider strategy, Andrew will play a key role in strengthening the foundations for long-term growth.

“I would also like to thank Jan Bramall for her significant contribution to the group during her time as interim CFO and wish her every success going forward.”
